I am very delighted to note that role playing games which were made in the past are still being considered now, for a remake. As they say “old is gold” and indeed this is the case with this game. A Classic, the game was made in the mid-90’s and the developers who developed the game are planning to make the game once again in a new format for the PSP. The game is a Japanese Tactical RPG released by Quest (now Square Enix) in 1995 for the Super Famicom console in Japan. Later, it was released in 1997 for the playstation. The title is actually inspired by the song “Teo Torriate” by the famous English Rock Band Queen. The game promoted the usual Good Vs Evil storyline, but has interesting story elements. The persistent battle is interspersed with strong character elements. The game has been re-booted and it has been announced that the game would be remade by the original development team for the PSP. Now this is some news indeed and I am pleased to give you this preview about the game.

The game, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, which was released earlier had the liberation army and its impending fight with the enemy as a part of its main storyline. The player controlled this liberation army and led it against the fight with the malevolent enemy. The outcome of the actions, at crucial points of the game, lead to a branch in the story-line and the outcomes are decided accordingly. A turn based tactical RPG, it had elements of suspense and great character plots. It will be interesting to see if the same elements are incorporated in the re-boot. The pitfalls of the Famicom/Playstation version were the lack of character classes, fewer stats and a very little dose of magic and special effects. But considering the fact that it was released in 1995, Special effects could have been a little far fetched. It will be fascinating to see if the revamped production introduces these elements. The famous Final Fantasy Tactics that square enix released, has plot elements taken from this game.

We can expect graphics and character rendering to be better in the latest re-boot of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, with advanced design elements and a bigger, better battlefield. The Knight, Valkyrie and the Ninja are shown in the trailer preview for this game, so these elements are there for sure. Magic seems to have gotten an overhaul. The PSP sneek preview of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together shows a great deal of improvement in terms of the amount of magic used. The effects are pretty good and the hit points fluctuate according to the amount of magic used to perform the spells. The backgrounds, lighting effects and the music have been improved in Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. It has good background music, much better from its predecessor. From the teaser, one can certainly say that the game has seen a major overhaul. Key Characters from the predecessor have been retained. Role playing games often are replete with elements like hit-points, shields, armor and health. The same case here, though one expects additions to the strengths/weaknesses of each character class in this version. It is only fair to expect the same non-linear battle structure as seen in the previous game, but assumptions are meant to be broken. Since this is a turn based RPG like Sid Meier’s Civilization IV for the PC, the game’s outcomes are determined by every move that the player makes. Each move counts, with a false step cascading throughout the game altering the final outcome. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together is set in Valeria, like its predecessor and the main plot is similar, fight the tyranny and save the people living in Valeria. Denam Powell is the main protagonist in Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together as well.

Loyal to his father and his country, he promises to avenge his father who had been taken away by the dark knights, the oppressors. Seeking redemption, he pairs up with his sister Kachua and his friend Vice to end this reign of terror. It looks to be seen if this plot arc is taken into consideration, although the main characters reprise their role in this game. The gameplay is expected to be in similar, since it is an RPG. The map is expected to be isometric(remember it is turn based). The player needs to build his army, stack it up with different character classes. As seen in the trailer, the order of movement is determined by the characteristics of the class – speed, hitpoints and the like determine the freedom of movement, the amount of damage done etc. The game is also expected to have cut-scenes interspersed between fights, revealing story-lines and twists. Like the previous game, individual units and the team as a whole can be managed from the interface, as seen in the trailer. Overall, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, like final fantasy tactics can be expected to be a free flowing strategy game and is expected to be a decent hit amongst gamers who enjoy playing Role playing strategy games.

I am a huge fan of Michael Jackson and have been influenced by his musical genius ever since I got hold of his foot-tapping number Billie Jean. If I am to speak about combining the power of music and gaming, then there is potential for a huge blockbuster hit and Ubisoft Montreal have decided to do it in style here. I fondly remember playing Ubisoft’s pioneer games on Sony’s Consoles; their games were a revelation. It was a wonderful experience playing Assassin’s Creed and Prince of Persia. Ubisoft Montreal is well known for its games. Their stunning graphical display, the environments and the like are very well known amongst gamers and I am sure they will be bringing out yet another sleeper hit with “Michael Jackson: The Experience”, featuring none other than the king of pop himself. I am pretty sure that by incorporating elements of his music, his dancing styles and savvy moves in the game Ubisoft are experimenting on the formula for success. Combining these elements with real time user interactivity and that too on sony’s graphics enriching consoles is bound to make heads turn. I am convinced that this game, like the previous ones from Ubisoft Montreal will capture the imagination of players from all over, proving to be a hit. This is not the first time a video game inspired by Michael Jackson, the phenomenal singer is hitting video game stores all over the world. In fact, his debut as a video game character, happened way back in 1988, with the release of the “Moonwalker”, the game inspired by the motion picture, where MJ uses his dance moves to rescue children from enemies. Ubisoft Montreal has come up with yet another dazzling title for the year and the announcement back at E3 held during this year has effectively seen it take shape. For the religious follower of the Rhythm and Dancing Genre, here is a sensational game, portraying the various styles of the phenomenal king of pop, here is – “Michael Jackson: The Experience”.

You may have seen many games before in this genre but this here is rather special – it is all about the king – MJ and his troupe of backstage dancers. The game is supposed to mimic the legendary King of Pop, capturing all the scintillating traits of the legend. The player in fact dons the hat, becoming MJ, virtually that is. The game basically captures the phenomenon that is Michael Jackson and tries to translate his abundant masterpieces across platforms ranging from the PSP to the latest XBOX 360 Kinect. Covering over 25 of his best musical treats, the trailers and interviews show that the players can copy his genial dancing moves – sashaying, swaying and strutting away in the game; his famous MoonWalk can also be performed, just by pressing a combination of buttons, or by moving the stylus. As you try to match up with Michael’s talent, the environment triggers various effects – visuals and music change dynamically with the setting.

The developers have strived to simulate a real time environment, with the implementation of Ubisoft’s Player Projection technology. In layman terms, a facsimile of a body will be impinged on the screen with the environments getting dynamically populated with “attributes” – features that formed a part of many live performances in history. The game is rumored to include a wide variety of gameplay modes, however, “Michael’s school” has been the only one revealed so far; players would be trying out their moves and sharpening their skills with MJ himself before the start of a show. There are video tutorials for each of MJ’s groovy moves on the dance floor. There is supposedly a challenge mode as well, where players compete with one another to get maximum points. It is rumored that there will be a career mode as well.

Multiplayer ability has been extended to 4 players in the Wii and PS3, while details on the PSP are still cloudy. The game has an additional singing feature for the Kinect version and an optional karaoke for the PS3 and Wii. These will be including real time audio enhancers to make the game feel livelier.Players who have experienced playing this game in the other platforms have given rave reviews, building up the reputation of its release for the PSP. Many believe that it is worth the amount of money paid. Everyone should own a copy of this masterpiece, the Master and his foot tapping, genial pop hits have been transformed into a timeless, user interactive epic, through this game. The creators of Just Dance 2 have set the standards really high here. It goes without saying that Ubisoft’s MJ the Experience will truly be an awesome game, enthralling audiences with a whole new interactive gaming experience – truly blissful for the pop fan.

I am pleased to write about a video game which has been adapted from a movie. I am delighted to present to you today a game which has been developed by THQ. The game is an adaptation of the movie, Megamind made by DreamWorks. This is the first time that a dreamworks movie has been adapted into a game by the famed Animation Company THQ. The game is expected have a storyline similar to that of the movie and maybe considered as an extension of the movie. The game is expected to be released for the PSP in sometime, with the PC version having seen its release in November. The all blue evil mastermind turned protagonist of this game is megamind, who is a playable character. Megamind is an alien who is endowed with super intelligence. The playable character can be used to unlock super cool weapons and features from within the game to make it more interesting.

The story arc which has been used in the movie is different; in it the antagonist becomes a hero at the end of the movie and something similar can be expected in the game as well. Although the movie seems to be interesting with its story arc and plot, the game’s storyline hasn’t been exposed yet. It will be interesting to see if the elements that constitute the movie, those elements which make the movie tick, will also be incorporated in the game. The notion however seems quite farfetched for now as the developers would rather take a different course from the movie, as they are catering to audiences who have already got a feel for the characters that make it to the game from the movie. If this is the case, THQ has to ensure that the game does not weigh down heavily on the aspects of the story, given the reputation of the makers who have created the movie.

Initial game trailers suggest that the game might have a cartoonish look and feel about it. The game environment seems to be textured, drawn literally, with many elements giving a plastic feel about it. The PC edition which was released earlier seems to be kind of like the other movie based games which has proliferated the market in the past. From the trailers, I feel that the game is somewhat similar to the Spiderman games which released earlier. The baddies seem to spring out of crates and boxes and it is fairly easy to defeat them. The UI has been modeled to contain elements which make the user experience easy. There is a built in help system as the player continues to play the game, introducing the elements that make the game interesting. From the E3 demo for the PC version, it seems as though the game is close-ended, with the environment having limited bounds and sometimes it feels like the settee is shaded, with the backdrops giving a vaguely 2D feel about it when compared to the current setting. The controls seem to be pretty simple, and there is a points system which allows the user to aggregate power. This is strewn across the environment in the form of blue orbs as seen in the sneak preview. The gameplay seems to have the basic elements – one can walk, run, jump and dodge. From the preview, it looks as though enemies can be defeated easy once you have collected enough blue orbs, powering up your weapons.

What more can I say, the gaming experience is awe inspiring. But there are certain aspects which need to be tried and tested. It looks to be seen whether elements such as mini-games are added in within the game. Puzzle solving, small recreational activity from within the game can be expected as it has already been incorporated in the PC version. The challenge however for the developers lies in making this adaptation viable for the PSP. Judging from the trailer, it looks as though one has the convenience to upgrade weapons. The level of toughness seems to go down as one makes a slew of weapon related upgrades. From the looks of things, it seems as though emphasis has been given on making the protagonist look better and a lot of work has gone into making the persona look similar to the one seen on the big screen. I hope the PSP version will be more dynamic and realistic, transporting the players to an entirely new dimension with graphics and other features. Also I hope that the background music and effects match the mood of the environment and is catchy, attracting many users and capturing their attention.

We’ve seen many quality role-play games from Japan over the years, and it seems that we’re going to get another installment from the Ys series. If you don’t know, Ys is a series of Japanese action role-playing games and it has been present on the market for more than twenty years. The first game from the Ys series was released in 1987 on several major consoles and the storyline follows an adventurous swordsman named Adol Christin. Of course, after the success of the original game, many sequels came on all sorts of platforms and PlayStation Portable is not an exception. We already saw four Ys games for PSP and soon we’re going to see the fifth one.

The upcoming Ys game is named Ys: The Oath in Felghana, and it has already been released on PC in 2005, and now we’re about to see the PSP version. One interesting thing about this game is that it’s not actually a sequel, it’s a remake of Ys III: Wanderers from Ys. Since Ys: The Oath in Felghana is a remake, the storyline is going to be the same like in the original game. Game is developed and published by Nihon Falcom Corporation, so let’s see what this game will have to offer to the fans of the series.

Ys: The Oath in Felghana follows the same story like the original game and it revolves around Adol Christin and his friend Dogi. This game takes place after two first games, and this time Adol and Dogi are travelling to Dogi’s hometown of Redmont on Felghana island. As soon as they arrive, they notice that entire island has changed and that violent monsters are terrorizing the people. Besides monsters, evil tyrant is controlling island and old volcano has suddenly become active once again, so it falls to Adol and Dogi to defeat the monsters and evil tyrant and to restore the order once again.

Gameplay has experienced some changes and now gameplay is focused more on action than on item management. For example, in Ys: The Oath in Felghana you don’t carry healing items and stats bonuses with you as items. Instead, you use them instantly when you pick them up from fallen enemies. As for experience bonuses, you’ll earn more of them if you perform continual combos during the combat. Besides that, magical attacks are now used more often and they are important than before. As you can see, gameplay is now focused more on combat, and speaking of combat, Adol can now jump and attack during the jumps. As for jumps, he can even perform double jumps, and he can combine jumps and attacks in order to reach the distant platforms. Combat in Ys: The Oath in Felghana is fast and intense and it looks great. Everything is full with detail, magic spells and special moves look amazing and everything runs so smoothly without any stuttering. Besides that, there are almost no loading times and everything runs without any problems. Speaking of gameplay, we should also mention that boss sequences look great, but some bosses battles are far more attractive than others are. Each boss has its own moves and pattern of behavior, and after some practice, you’ll be able to defeat them all. As for the difficulty, we should mention that Ys: The Oath in Felghana has six difficulty levels. Two new difficulty levels are added such as Very Easy and unlockable Inferno difficulty. Besides those two levels of difficulty, standard levels such as Easy, Normal, Hard, and Nightmare are available as well. Interesting thing about Ys: The Oath in Felghana is that it tracks your progress, and if you die too many times in a certain area game will automatically reduce the difficulty permanently. Sure, this might be good for some players that have problems with higher difficulty levels, but for others that want to beat the game on a certain level of difficulty this can be highly frustrating.

This version will get a lot of customizations and a full English localization. That way, players will be able to change the narration at any time. Besides that, you can change your controls and difficulty level. We should also mention that cutscenes are narrated, but you can turn off the narration at any time.

Ys: The Oath in Felghana is a great game, and we can’t wait to see it on North American market. The PC version was released only in Japan, and Japanese version of Ys: The Oath in Felghana was released for PlayStation Portable in April. We’re expecting to see the release of Ys: The Oath in Felghana on North American market on 2 November 2010. If you’re into action JRPGs Ys: The Oath in Felghana in a game that you mustn’t miss. Great graphics, a lot action, and intense combat will keep you occupied for days, even if you’re not the fan of Ys series.

There are many great games for PlayStation Portable that have debuted on other consoles and then turned into PlayStation Portable exclusives. One of those franchises is Valkyria Chronicles a tactical role-playing game developed by Sega. Original Valkyria Chronicles was released on PlayStation 3 and it has achieved great success. Following the success of the main game on PlayStation 3, the franchise has moved to PlayStation Portable and Valkyria Chronicles 2 appeared to be a great PSP exclusive. It has got great reviews and it has been well accepted by the fans of the original game. Following the success of Valkyria Chronicles on PlayStation 3 and Valkyria Chronicles 2 on PSP Sega decided to release another Valkyria Chronicles game. Valkyria Chronicles 3 is announced and just like Valkyria Chronicles 2 it will be PlayStation Portable exclusive.

We know that Valkyria Chronicles 3 will be set at the same time frame as the first game but it will have its unique storyline. As for the storyline, Valkyria Chronicles 3 will take place during the Second European War and it follows Gallian Army Squad 442 that is also known as The Nameless. One thing that makes The Nameless so interesting is that they do the dirtiest and most dangerous tasks that regular army doesn’t. The Nameless are controlled by Gallian military and they are penal military unit that consists of military deserters, offenders and criminals whose names are erased from the records. Since their names are erased, they call themselves The Nameless and they refer to each other by numbers. There will be several main characters in Valkyria Chronicles 3 and first one is Kurt Irving, also known as Number 7, and he is disgraced military officer who wants to redeem himself. Next is Imca, also known as Ace Number 1, and she is heavy weapons specialist that seeks revenge against the Valkyrian who destroyed her home. Last character is Riela Marceris, known as Number 13, and she is a young woman who is the descendant of the Valkyria. The Nameless need to work together and fight against the mysterious Imperial unit known as Calamity Raven. Another interesting thing is that these characters will have special powers so Number 13 will be able to turn into Valkyria at any time, while Number 7 will be able to lead other units, and Ace Number 1 can upgrade her grenade launcher so it can lock onto targets and cause multiple explosions. As you can see, Valkyria Chronicles 3 will have much mature storyline and it will return to the roots of original game, which is definitely a plus. We won’t see any high school characters from military school from Valkyria Chronicles 2, which is a great thing because Valkyria Chronicles 3 will be more mature and therefore more appealing to the fans of original game. Although Valkyria Chronicles 2 is the official sequel to the Valkyria Chronicles, we can say that Valkyria Chronicles 3 will be the true sequel of the original game.

As for the improvements, Valkyria Chronicles 3 will work on similar way as the previous game, but graphics has been improved. One thing that was bit annoying in Valkyria Chronicles 2 was that you had to place your cursor over a unit in Command Mode to see how much HP and ammo that unit has. Valkyria Chronicles 3 changes that, and it automatically highlights the units with low health or with low ammo, which makes gameplay experience faster and smoother than before. In addition, all battlefields look live because characters often communicate between each other with character bubbles over their heads, which is definitely a great addition. As for new units, we didn’t notice any, but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be any in a final version.

Valkyria Chronicles 3 looks promising and if you played any of the Valkyria Chronicles games you should definitely try Valkyria Chronicles 3 out. With the focus on original game combined with improved graphics and new characters with special powers, Valkyria Chronicles 3 will be a great game. As for release date, we’re expecting to see Valkyria Chronicles 3 on January 27, 2011 in Japan. As for release dates in other regions, we have no information about it so far.

Monster Hunter is one great gaming franchise developed by Capcom that has inspired many different game developers. That way we’re getting all sorts of Monster Hunter clones on all gaming platforms and PlayStation Portable is not an exception. One of the great Monster Hunter clones is God Eater, but it seems that we’re going to get another clone that will be available exclusively for the PlayStation Portable. This game is called Lord of Arcana, so let’s see what this game will offer to its fans.

Lord of Arcana is developed exclusively for the PlayStation Portable and it is published by Square Enix. As for the development, the team behind Lord of Arcana is Access Games. Access Games is Japanese game development studio that was founded in 2002 and so far, it has developed several games such as Spy Fiction for PlayStation 2, Deadly Premonition for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Although this developer doesn’t have many developed games, Lord of Arcana is actually its third game, we’re still highly optimistic about the upcoming Lord of Arcana game. As for the game itself, the story is set in a kingdom called Horodyn that is named after its first king. Horodyn is kingdom just like any other, but on unknown location lays an ancient stone known only as the Arcana. Legends say that Arcana posses a huge magical power, and it’s no wonder that many people want it. Of course, world of Horodyn is filled with all sorts of creatures and monsters and besides them, there are warriors known as Slayers that fight these creatures. Besides that, Slayers want to get their hands on a stone of Arcana as well. Storyline is simple and it resembles to Monster Hunter that doesn’t have to be a bad thing.

At the beginning of the game, you create your own character and customize its looks and weapons and after you’ve created your character, the real fun starts. Lord of Arcana seems like a pretty fun game if you like linear dungeons. When you enter a dungeon you’ll see a minimap at the top right of your screen, and one thing that might annoy you about Lord of Arcana is that each area of dungeon has to be loaded separately. This means that you’ll have to wait until for the next section of the dungeon is loaded which can be annoying at times. However, loading is fast and I’m pretty sure that most of the players won’t mind it. As for the combat, each battle is taking place in real time, but the principle is similar like in some RPG games. For example, you meet an enemy in a dungeon, get close to it, and the game will place you in arena in which you’ll fight against that enemy. This isn’t that bad, but you might find it annoying if you prefer to fight in open world. Unlike in other games, such as Monster Hunter and God Eater, you don’t have one special weapon that transforms in Lord of Arcana. Instead, you use a single weapon and all sorts of items during the combat. Combat is great because you can perform all sorts of amazing moves, but the thing that makes it incredible are the special moves. Special moves are breathtaking and I can say that they resemble to the moves seen in God of War series. They are extremely brutal and they are performed by tapping a certain button at the right moment. They produce great damage and they look amazing on a handheld device such as PlayStation Portable. Special moves are extremely brutal, and they will make your enemies bleed. Yes, Lord of Arcana is a bloody game and you’ll see gallons and gallons of blood during the combat. Another great thing about this game is that you perform different special moves on different types of enemies. Of course, we’re expecting to see multiplayer support in Lord of Arcana as well.

Lord of Arcana looks great because it has a violent gameplay and brutal special moves. Imagine how cool would it be to fight against a boss with four of your friends at the same time? Lord of Arcana sounds like an amazing game, and as for release date, we know that Lord of Arcana will be available on November 14 in Japan. We’re expecting to see this game on other markets during the next year.

Square Enix is famous for its role-playing franchise Final Fantasy, that gave birth to a brand new genre of role-playing games that focuses more on the characters and their emotions instead of the storyline. This concept was revolutionary in 1987 when the first Final Fantasy game was released. During the years, we got many Final Fantasy games, but we got something different for the PlayStation Portable in 2009. We got an action RPG/fighting game from Square Enix that involved most popular heroes and villains from the Final Fantasy series. As you might guess it, I’m talking about Dissidia: Final Fantasy.

The great thing about Dissidia: Final Fantasy was that it took place in completely 3D environment. Besides 3D environment, game offered us a completely different action based combat and that was one of the best aspects of Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Combat was amazing with a lot of flashy effects and spectacular moves, and this is what made this game so appealing to the gamers. Of course, character roster in this game was great and it included 24 characters from Final Fantasy series. There were 12 heroes available such as: Warrior of Light, Terra Branford, and Cloud Strife, and on the other side we had 12 most vicious villains from Final Fantasy such as: The Emperor, Exdeath, and Sephiroth. Now imagine how awesome it looked to see your favorite Final Fantasy hero and villain fighting in a fully 3D environment in intense and spectacular combat. It was a great game for 2009 on the PSP but it seems that Square Enix is working on a sequel, so let’s check out what will sequel have to offer.

The new Final Fantasy game for PSP is called Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy, and according to the latest news it should introduce several new things. First thing that we should mention is that we’re going to see all of 24 old characters in this game as well, but there will be some new characters such as Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII and Kain from Final Fantasy IV. Interesting thing about Lightning is that she will be able to use Paradigm Shift ability and change between Blaster and Healer during the combat. Besides Lightning and Kain, developers hinted that we might see Tifa Lockheart in Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy as well. Besides those three characters, we’re positive that Square Enix will add more of them as well. Speaking of characters, another interesting thing about this game is that you can now summon a character that will assist you in your fight. This will be great because it allows you more diversity during the combat and it means that now you’ll be able to get up to four characters on the screen. It remains unknown how this new assist system will work but we’re eager to try it out. Another interesting thing about this game is that all returning characters will get three costumes as well as new and different abilities.

Besides new characters we’re going to get a whole new gameplay mode called RPG Mode that will take allow us to use old Final Fantasy combat mechanics. It’s simple enough, all that you have to do in order to fight is to choose menu commands in order to attack. This mode works great as a training mode because Dissidia is quite hard game to master because you have to move, choose special attacks and watch your bravery and hit points at all the time. This new mode will allow you to focus more on your tactics and combat moves and less on the movement because your character automatically moves while you focus on combat, hit points and such. It’s really great if you’re a fan of older Final Fantasy games and if you’re having trouble adjusting to the new combat system.

Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy will be a great game and although it’s not much different from Dissidia: Final Fantasy it will still be a must have game for all Final Fantasy fans. New RPG mode, new characters, combat moves, entirely new storyline, and amazing combat will make Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy one of the best Final Fantasy games on the PSP. As for release date, we should see this game in 2011.

We’re positive that there are many fans of wrestling and as the popularity of this sport rises, it’s certain that we’re going to see more wrestling games in the future. As for the wrestling games, one of the most popular series is the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw. Series has been present for several years on many different gaming platforms and we’ve seen many WWE SmackDown vs. Raw games during the years. As you know, we’re getting new installment of the series on regular basis and we’re waiting for the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 with anticipation. Just like the previous games, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 will be available for all major consoles and PlayStation Portable is not an exception.

As for the series, the first game from the series has been released in March 2000 for the PlayStation but back then it was called WWF SmackDown!. The game was a hit and soon the sequels followed. When PlayStation was replaced by PlayStation 2 series moved completely to it, and it has changed its name to WWE SmackDown vs. Raw in 2004. Since then, publishers used the same naming system that EA Sports is using for its sports game that includes adding the upcoming year to the game’s name. Now we’re waiting for the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 with anticipation and according to the latest news it should be available for all major platforms such as PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Xbox 360. Interesting thing is that it will be available for PlayStation 2 as well, although PlayStation 2 has been replaced by PlayStation 3. Of course, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw series has been present on PlayStation Portable for several years now, and we’ve seen many WWE SmackDown vs. Raw so far. First WWE SmackDown vs. Raw game that has appeared on PSP was WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2006 and after five successful games we’re looking forward to the sixth one. WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 will be available for all major consoles such as PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Xbox 360 so let’s have a closer look what will WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 have to offer to its fans.

As we manage to find out, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 will introduce an enhanced gameplay that should be more dynamic than before. Interesting thing is that gameplay scenarios will change according to the player’s decisions that should provide more interesting storyline. Besides improved gameplay, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 should introduce improved customization features so you’ll be able to customize your characters and stories even further. Speaking of characters, we should mention that WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011, will feature the largest character roster so far and it will feature 70 popular Divas and Superstars from the WWE. Another interesting thing about this game is that we’re going to see is the new WWE Universe Mode that will give you certain level of nonlinear gameplay because you’ll be able to make alliances and enemies with other Superstars and Divas. Interesting thing about this mode is that your decision will influence the storyline and you’ll get different scenarios depending on your decisions. Besides, WWE Universe Mode we should mention that Road to WrestleMania mode has also been changed and now you can roam through backstage areas. In addition, Hell in a Cell matches will be changed but at the moment we don’t have any information about it.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 looks promising enough, but so far there isn’t much information available about the upcoming game. As you can see, new SmackDown game will be improved a lot and we can’t wait to try the new WWE Universe Mode and the improved customization. One interesting thing about customization is that you’ll be able to share your characters and stories online but we don’t know if we’re going to see this option on the PSP. As for the release date, we’re expecting to see WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, and Xbox 360 on October 26 in USA, October 28 in Australia and October 29 in United Kingdom. If you’re fan of wrestling and of SmackDown series, make sure that you don’t miss the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011.

There are many great action games on the PlayStation Portable but I think that Monster Hunter is one of the best action games on PSP and on other consoles. If you’re not familiar with the Monster Hunter series, we should mention that Monster Hunter is an action role-play game that has debuted on PlayStation 2 in 2004. One thing that made Monster Hunter so popular is the ability to join with other players online and defeat stronger monsters that way. Yeah, it Monster Hunter was great on PlayStation 2 and after the success of the original game many sequels followed. Series have moved on other consoles as well, so we got Monster Hunter on Wii, Xbox 360 and on PC as well. As for the PSP, we got several Monster Hunter games for it. The first Monster Hunter game for PSP was released in 2006 and it was called Monster Hunter Freedom. It was a good game, since it had adhoc support, but it wasn’t the best game it the series. After the Monster Hunter Freedom, two Monster Hunter games followed, Monster Hunter Freedom 2 and Monster Hunter Unite, and both of them achieved great success. Now, after a while it seems that we’re going to get a new Monster Hunter game called Monster Hunter Portable 3rd / Monster Hunter Freedom 3, so let’s see what will this game offer to its fans.

First thing that I noticed about Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is that it looks a lot like God Eater Burst, because it uses the similar gameplay system in which you need to fight against huge monsters with your teammates, but we all know that Monster Hunter has so much more to offer. So what do we know about Monster Hunter Portable 3rd? New base of operations is Yukumo Village that has that great Japanese medieval look and I have to admit that it looks amazing. I should mention that now you can lead two companions when you’re hunting for monsters in single player instead of single companion like in the previous game which is definitely an improvement. When you’re on a quest during a singleplayer mission, enemies will focus their attacks on all members of your group and that should make your quests a bit simpler and easier than before. Another improvement that wasn’t present in earlier Monster Hunter games is the ability to change the equipment of your companions, which allows you to make different tactics and attack strategies. By changing your companion’s equipment, you’ll change their physical look as well as properties, which is a nice detail. As for the customization of your characters, you should know that you’ll be able to change your companion’s weapons, head parts and torso parts. As we can see, customization is a great addition to the series but besides customization, we’re going to get a whole new locations as well. If you’ve played Monster Hunter Tri, you’ll be pleased to know that all locations from it will be available in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, but there will be a whole new location called Keiryu or Mountain Stream. We should mention that there won’t be underwater levels in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, but there will be additional levels that should replace them, so you probably won’t even notice that they are missing.

As for the weapons, we know that all 12 categories of weapons from previous games will be available in this game and available categories are Long Sword, Sword and Shield, Hunting Horn, Greatsword, Dual Swords, Lance, Hammer, Gun Lance, Bow, Switch Axe, Light Bowgun and Heavy Bowgun. As for the weapons, they work on similar way like the weapons in God Eater Burst, because you use single weapon that transforms into other types of weapons during the combat. Besides that, there will be improved item creation system, but so far, we don’t have any information about it.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd looks amazing on the PlayStation Portable and I’m positive that it will be one of the best PSP games when it is released. As for the release date, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd will be available on December 1st in Japan, and so far there’s no information about release dates in other countries.

I don’t know if you’re a fan of soccer, but if you are, you’ve probably played one game from FIFA series. We can agree that games from FIFA series are great, and as you know, EA Sports is working constantly on a new FIFA games that we get each year. Although FIFA Soccer 11 hasn’t been released yet, we decided to share some information about it and to cover some of the new feature that the game will have.

Let’s focus more on the history of the series for a bit. FIFA started in late 1993 and the great thing about it back then is that it had licensed teams and player, and that’s what made it different from the other soccer franchises that were released back then. Besides licensed teams and players, FIFA offered a isometric view at the field as well as detailed graphics and animations, and because of that FIFA soon became one of the most popular soccer series in the world. The first FIFA game was released on 15 July 1993 for all major platforms and back then it was called FIFA International Soccer. FIFA series changed its name with the next installment, FIFA Soccer 95, and several changes of the name followed during the years. Besides name changes, the series got numerous improvements and because of that FIFA is one of the best soccer series ever. As you know, we’re waiting for the latest installment of the series, FIFA Soccer 11, with anticipation, and according to the latest news, we should see it soon enough. Interesting thing is that FIFA Soccer 11 is the 18th installment of the series and just like previous installments, it will be released for all major gaming platforms such as PC, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable. Interesting thing about FIFA Soccer 11 is that it will have many different features but not all features will be available for all platforms due to the hardware limitations. Since there are many new features available, we’ve decided to give you a short overview of each of them, so let’s start.

Although you might not be able to experience it on your PSP, FIFA Soccer 11 will use brand new and improved engine on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. PC version will have FIFA World mode that will allow players to compete online and to fight for positions on the leaderboard. Another interesting feature that is going to be available on PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, PS2 is the Pro Passing. With the Pro Passing, each pass is harder to perform because accuracy of the pass is determined by the player’s accuracy with the control pad and by character’s skills and situation on the field. It should be great because it will provide more realistic experience for all the players. Another interesting option is the Creation Centre, but it will be available only for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Creation Centre will allow you to create your own teams and players and share them with other players online. Of course, there will be Career Mode as well, and it will be available on PS3, Xbox 360, PS2 and PSP. If you remember Be a Pro Mode and Manager Mode you’ll be pleased to know that they have been merged into one mode called Career mode. Now you can play as a player or as a manager or you can switch between the role of single player and manager during the 15 seasons. Career mode is improved a lot, and you’ll have more complex transfers with other teams that include fees and contracts. Of course, you’ll have to fulfill certain objectives as a manager in order not to get replaced by a team’s board. In addition, you can even get tips from a coach regarding the players. Another improvement is that the goalkeepers will be more agile and skilled than before and it will be a lot harder to score a goal. Speaking of goalkeepers, you’ll be able to play as goalkeeper as well. These two features are available on all consoles, and we can’t wait to try them out.

FIFA Soccer 11 will be a great game and we can’t wait to try it out. As for the release date we should see it in stores on 28 September 2010 in North America, 30 September 2010 in Australia and on 1 October 2010 in Europe.
