Toturial: How to Mod PSP 3000/2000 TA-088v3. [ New ]
Things You need:

- PSP 2000 with Motherboard TA-088v3 ( Version 5.03 or Below ) - Please Upgrade to 5.03 if you are below 5.03
- PSP 3000 ( Version 5.03 ) - Please Upgrade to 5.03 if you are below 5.03
- USB Cable
- ChickHEN Modified Version/MHUSpeed Mod by King Kiko
- CFWEnabler 3.60/3.70 or GEN C for HEN
- Eboot Exchange 2.8 if you Using CFWEnabler 3.60/3.70. [ Eboot exchange allow you to play new games on older Custom Firmware ]
- And some patience


Instruction:

Step 1: Download ChickHEN or MHUSpeed.

Note: ChickHEN and MHUSpeed here are all the Modified version of the original. This is better then the original...


Step 2: Download CFWEnabler 3.60/3.70 or GEN C for HEN.

GEN A - Use GEN C. GEN C is the Latest and can play new games
GEN B - Use GEN C. GEN C is the Latest and can play new games

Note: After you download CFWEnabler 3.60/3.70 and GEN C, extract it and copy the folder to the GAME folder of your PSP. ms0:/PSP/GAME/ Put here


Step 3: Run ChickHEN/MHUSpeed

Note: If you have run ChickHEN, your system version will be 5.03 ChickHEN R2.
If you have run MHUSpeed, your system version will be 5.03 mhuspeed3

If you Fail to run ChickHEN, try again.


Step 4: Run CFWEnabler 3.60/3.70 or GEN C

After you run ChickHEN, you need to run CFWEnabler 3.60/3.70 or GEN C. Go to games, and you will find it. Run it..

- For CFWEnabler: After you run it, you will see Flash and start. Click it and click yes if it ask you to confirm. It will reboot to 5.03 MHU. Check your system information, it should be 5.03 MHU.

- For GEN C: After you run it, press X to flash the files and X again to reboot to 5.03 GEN-C. Check your system information, it should be 5.03 GEN-C (Full).

Important !!!! : After you are on 5.03 MHU or 5.03 GEN-C (Full) , press SELECT on the XMB [ PSP Main Menu ] and change UMD ISO MODE to M33 diver and change USB DEVICE to Memory Stick. Use the left or right button to change. After you are done, press SELECT again to exit. Look at the picture below.



Now you are done ! You can now play Downloaded Games on your PSP.


Some things to take note:

- If you turn off your PSP, you need to Run ChickHEN/MHUSpeed and CFWEnabler/GEN C again. So put it on standby/sleep Mode.

- If you use CFWEnabler 3.60 or 3.70, you need Eboot Exchange because you can only play new games on GEN C.
